Exciting NEWS!!! Have you been wanting to join a group of musicians who are passionate and excited about bringing music to the Central PA area? If so, you're in luck because there are some openings in our orchestra- we're looking to add members to all of our string sections, French horn, and trombone sections. Musicians
The Central Pennsylvania Symphony is always seeking new, energetic and passionate musicians to join the orchestra! We currently have openings in all String sections, Oboes, Percussion and substitutes throughout the orchestra.
We rehearse weekly, Thursday evenings from 7:30-10:00, and perform three subscription concerts and an Annual Gala event each season.

Symphony Volunteer Corps
Our non-profit symphony orchestra continues to seek those who can offer their time and expertise to help us advance our mission. Think of almost any skill or service and it is highly likely that we could use a volunteer to lend support.
Volunteer services that we need at each performance include:
Box Office
Help process ticket sales, take ticket orders, and be our first impression to our patrons.
Show Ushers
Help take tickets, hand out programs, and direct patrons to their seats before each performance.
Volunteer Coordinator
As part of our mission to deliver classical music to diverse Central Pennsylvania populations, our venues change for each performance. Help us ensure that we don’t let any of our logistical and administrative details fall through the cracks.
Help with several or just one performance per subscription season, whatever time you can give is always appreciated.
